AdmissionPrep helps students and families navigate university admissions and plan their next steps with confidence. More than 12,500 families have signed up for our free workshops, where we share practical guidance with the AdmissionPrep community.

We're looking for a lively, confident presenter who can make a Zoom workshop feel engaging and personal—even with hundreds of students and parents in the audience.

The role

You'll host up to three live, one-hour workshops per week on Zoom. We'll provide the workshop materials; your job is to review them in advance, become comfortable with the content, and deliver an engaging presentation.

You'll represent the AdmissionPrep brand, provide useful guidance to our community, and help families understand how AdmissionPrep can support their university admissions journey.

What you'll do

• Present clearly and confidently to hundreds of students and families on Zoom.
• Bring energy and warmth to each session, using questions, chat, and audience interaction to keep people engaged.
• Review the provided materials, rehearse key points, and arrive ready to lead each workshop.
• Explain ideas in accessible language and respond thoughtfully to audience questions.
• Introduce AdmissionPrep's services and guide interested families toward the next steps provided in the workshop materials.
• Coordinate with our team so each workshop starts on time and runs smoothly.

Schedule and compensation

• $50 CAD per hour.
• Contract role, approximately 5–10 hours per week, including live workshops and preparation.
• Up to three hours of live presenting per week, typically one workshop each on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Workshops are approximately one hour long, with start times generally between 4 and 5 p.m. Pacific / 7 and 8 p.m. Eastern, when families are available in the evening.
• Plan for approximately 2–3 hours of preparation per week, including at least 30 minutes reviewing the materials before each workshop. Preparation needs may vary as you get familiar with the content.
• All workshop materials are provided. You focus on preparation and delivery.

We're looking for someone who

• Is lively, personable, and comfortable engaging a large audience on camera.
• Can hold a crowd's attention on Zoom and make an online session feel interactive.
• Communicates clearly and adapts their delivery to students and parents.
• Is reliable, prepared, and available for the Tuesday–Thursday evening schedule.
• Is comfortable using Zoom, screen sharing, presentation slides, and audience chat.
• Has a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional space to present from.

Experience presenting workshops, hosting webinars, teaching, facilitating, or speaking to groups is an asset.
